Lower Tuffley Lane, Gloucester

Redcatch Construction’s Commercial Team successfully delivered the design and build of 12 high-quality commercial units in Gloucester. The project involved extensive ground remediation and a full package of civil, structural, and finishing works, completed to a high standard and on programme.

Over 1,000 tonnes of contaminated soil were safely removed in accordance with environmental compliance and the site’s agreed remediation strategy. A comprehensive drainage system was installed, including an attenuation crate system and bespoke headwall to manage surface water discharge.

The build included power floated concrete slabs, insulated cladding systems, and fire-rated boards, providing durability, thermal performance, and fire safety. Full mechanical and electrical systems were installed in each unit, ready for tenant fit-out.

Externally, the team delivered road surfacing, access roads, service yards, and parking areas, completing the development as a functional, flexible commercial space that enhances Gloucester’s business offering.
